Compensation: Hiring salary $10.52 per hour
    30 to 40 hours per week, hours will vary. Maintenance Worker II positions are available in the Golf division. Applicants will perform a wide variety of tasks including (but not limited to): turf maintenance (mowing and trimming); maintenance of fairways and greens; landscape maintenance; tools and building maintenance. Must have the ability to work as part of a team. Positions may require applicants to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Experience in grounds maintenance is preferred. Applicants must have the ability to safely operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, string trimmers, spray machines and other standard tools and equipment used in the care and maintenance of parks, facilities and golf courses. The ability to perform strenuous manual labor, often under unfavorable conditions, including considerable walking, lifting, stooping, and carrying is required. The successful applicant must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalency and possess a valid Virginia driver's license. Final applicants required to register with Selective Service must show proof of registration (pursuant to Section 2.2-2804, Code of Virginia.)
